There are numerous types of techniques that Doctors of Chiropractic utilize to adjust the spine. There are manual/traditional manipulations and instrument assisted adjusting techniques. Both types are effective in improving spinal and body function and are utilized at this office. Some techniques include:
MOTION PALPATION ANALYSIS & ADJUSTING: A method of analyzing the spinal and pelvic misalignments by challenging the spine through a certain range of motion and providing a specific adjustment to restore motion to restricted joints.
CERVICAL & PELVIC DROP TABLE: A technique that utilizes a specifically designed chiropractic table with these functions to correct misalignments to the spine and pelvis.
SACRO OCCIPITAL TECHNIQUE (SOT): A method of using wedges to block the pelvis to allow the body to relax and unwind. This technique works well in conjunction with other types of adjustments.
APPLIED KINIESIOLOGY: A muscle testing procedure to determine the areas of the body that need to be adjusted or to determine certain body systems that need nutritional support.
INSTRUMENT ADJUSTING TECHNIQUE:A method that utilizes the use of a mechanical instrument to gently adjust the appropriate spinal segments, hips, and muscles allowing for an extremely comfortable and highly effective adjustment.
